Using MVS

MVS is originally a batch oriented operating system. Interactive features (TSO, graphics) were hooked on later. Contact me or the computer centre's Benutzerberatung for accounting and primer manuals. MVS accounts have 4-characters in kryptic notation ( KPxx, KYxx,..., for book-keeping reasons). The FOPI account is KP09. However, normally there is no need to logon under KP09. Like on VMS your LOGON.CLIST ( LOGIN.COM) file has to be modified to enable usage of our utilities, insert the lines:

  EXEC 'KP09.ULIB.EXEC(CMSDEFS)'
  EXEC 'KP09.FLIB.EXEC(CMSDEFS)'
