Accessing mass data under VMS

It is not intended to keep large amounts of data under VMS. Mass data reside primarily on MVS (see section gif). See gif how to transfer data to VMS. As a FOPI member you may use device F_POOL3 to hold some data in a pool of about 990 MB. In addition, if you have locally attached tape drives you may use them as mass data devices.
