Using and Customizing ULTRIX

You login to ULTRIX

from MVS
not recommended,
from AIX
using the FOPI command
```
telvt <node>
```
from ULTRIX
with
```
telnet <node>
```
from VMS
with
```
telnet <node>
```

Your login profile (.profile) should contain the two lines

. /disks/dsah_2/fopi/ulib/cmsdefs.sh  # mind the period at the beginning !
. /disks/dsah_2/fopi/flib/cmsdefs.sh  # mind the period at the beginning !

in order to provide some useful environment variable settings. If you are not satisfied with the definitions made therein, you may change them later in your .profile.
